New look

July 11, 2009

Will God keep gumtrees has a new look. I’ve gone for a simpler effect which I hope will be pleasing, but if you hate it, let me know. If you’re looking for them, links and so on are down the bottom, but some have relocated to new pages.

I like it. Minimal. Cool. Scribbly bark picture with changing focus. It’s all there!
    Is the photo yours?

I do like to have links handy though – it’s a long way down to the bottom of the main page…

At first glance I thought I wasn’t at the top of the page and there was more photo to view. I think this is because of the small gap between the header photo and the top of the page, combined with the style of photo.

Only at first glance though, and this isn’t necessarily a bad thing. It’s a great photo and I love the colours.

with your archives down the bottom, you should have the option to be able to make it a drop down menu instead of listing them… it will help the footer not to go on for ever!!
    does that make sense?

I like the photo, though not the narrow width. Does anyone use a browser that small?

Thanks guys. Dave, changed at the bottom—good idea. Others, despite the disadvantages I think I’m going to keep it for now. I hope that’s ok! A change is as good as a holiday, and I’ve just had a holiday too, so it all feels pretty good.
